Christine Mutesi

Director

Christine Mutesi is among the few brilliant people that God blessed us with at Risen Sustainable Development. She serves at the level of Director, handling the organizational cash inflow and making strategic plans to implement different projects and programs at Risen Sustainable Development. She is a graduate of Business Management and is passionate about developing the potential of the people around her.

Emmanuel Buyinza

Founder

Emmanuel Buyinza is a founder of Risen Sustainable Development and a graduate with a Bachelor's of Honors in Social Work and Social Administration. The organization was registered with a group of friends whose vision is unified with the founder's mandate of helping communities in Uganda and beyond. Emmanuel was abandoned by his family and went through great adversity in his childhood, sleeping in a church for 13 years. By the hand of God, he was able to go through all school levels — and it is that same direction he still stands on today.

Davids Daniel Mutabaazi

Founder

Davids Daniel Mutabaazi is a co-founder and brilliant engineer whose investment in the organization comes from the heart. He serves in information technology and water provision for the communities in Uganda. He is currently working hard to prepare the ground for LEGIT, which is seeking water funding provisions for the communities we serve.

Isaiah Sserwada

Project Manager

Oversees end-to-end operational functions of the organisation. Coordinates and implements refugee-focused development programmes. Manages donor relations and ensures financial accountability. Bridges field operations with strategic organisational leadership. Works directly with refugee communities in camps across Uganda. Applies professional finance expertise to strengthen NGO governance.

Winnie Kyakwera

Food Program Manager

Winnie Kyakwera is a graduate of Makerere University with a Bachelor of Agriculture, whose passion is to build sustainable food baskets for our communities in Uganda. Winnie is the brain behind the Food Relief program for the communities we serve. She is very innovative and creative in everything she does at Risen Sustainable Development, and we are blessed to have her on our team.

William Kinunu

Pastor, Mentor & Life Coach

A pastor, leader, mentor and life coach who is very passionate about leadership. He is driven by people moving from survival to thriving. William believes religion points us to miracles while Jesus points us to change — religion teaches us to go to heaven, while Jesus encourages us to dominate the world.

Enos Mwebaze

Board Member

Enos Mwebaze has a great heart for the community of Uganda and has worked hard to become a freight engineer in Uganda. He serves as a board member whose knowledge is an asset to Risen Sustainable Development.

Henry Mubiru

Head of Media

A passionate and skilled media professional based in Uganda and the Director of Eagle One Media. With a strong eye for visual storytelling, Henry specializes in photography, cinematic videography, livestream production, and content creation for brands, organizations, and individuals. He also holds a Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from Kampala International University, which strengthens his professionalism, planning, and business-oriented approach in every project he undertakes.

Robert Omeny

Software Developer

Robert Omeny is the software developer behind Risen Sustainable Development's digital platforms, building technology that connects the organization with donors, partners and the communities it serves.
