Serving the women and youth has helped us to identify a lot of unmet needs. Many of the vulnerable women are widows and grandmothers who are the solely care takers of the children at their homes, Refugee orphan children in Uganda, Most of the children are orphans and have been left under the support of their grandmothers and widows. However, the situation of the widows and grandmothers are appalling and need more extra support beyond the loans to support the children under care of the widows and grandmothers which is education. This can be achieved through provision of child scholarship programs. As Risen Sustainable Development, we welcome whoever would love to fund our scholar-students on our scholarship programs. Mentorship is done at every level of this program to inspire the scholar -students to look at life differently and believe that they can achieve beyond their expectations through Exciting L.E.G.I.T Camps that we envision to have this twice a year.
